Geriatric Patients

When I started working here in the US as an RN, my preceptor taught me lots of lessons. The one that usually comes back to me most of the time is when I’m taking care of patients who are old, in medical term, Geriatric (patients who are old) is that ” I will be one like them in few years.” and that reminds me to live life to its fullest, to be good, and do good because I will be one of them pretty much soon.
