Manikin Face Shield by Laerdal
I went to CPR Class last month and I found this product great for CPR practice and use. Its called Manikin Face Shield made by Laerdal. It is a piece of plastic roll and u can tear it like rolled tissue paper where at the center of it you can find a barrier where you can blow in during CPR. All you have to do is place the face shield over a CPR manikin head with barrier on top of the manikin’s mouth for Mouth to mouth or nose respiration/ventilation(shown on picture) and after use discard the shield. and thats it!
The advantages for this is that it prevents you from kissing the mouth of the monilkin and prevents you from contacting microorganism from previous persons who used the manikin before.
Pictures at the left shows you on how to use the product. So CPR is now safe.
