Philippine Long Distance Company(PLDT) nyse: PHI

I know this company very much. My estimate this company holds at least 70% of telephone and celphone subscribers (SMART) in the Philippines. They provide data and internet services, they have ventures in Philippines first data satellite and invested lots of money over undersea fiberoptic cable from US to Philippines and Asia. PLDT is a giant and I think a utility with big margin of profit. Only Philippine company listed on NYSE.

 Recently with the demand for outsourced call centers. PLDT formed a company to cater it. 

 They also own the most franchised internet cafe in the Philippines.

 If  I have some more money in my portfolio I will gladly invest some fortune in this company. maybe in weeks I will do it.
