At Baylor University Medical Center almost all of the floors and units here at Baylor are using the celphone of Nortel which works great!!! Wherever you are in the campus you can be reached.
All US hospitals has a Call Light system that connects the patients to the front desk for problems, and communicate thier needs. Usually this calls are directed to the nurse, and usually communicated to the nurse via this celphone. Here at Baylor each nurses are given one Nortel Celphone at the start of the shift and that connects you facilitys’ telephone system and that means your Nortel celphone has its own local number. And that makes it convenient to nurses.

In April 3 1973 Motorola’s Martin Cooper first called using his invention celphone on the streets of New York using DynaTAC prototype which is later available for the public in 1984.
Back then celphones weighs 2lbs more now they are in ounces. Pretty much in the future we will see more improvements.

I ve been using O2 Atom for a year now and had used the motorola Razor and Lots of Nokia Phones in the past. Fpr a year I already have outgrown my O2 Atom what disppoints me with that is that its not txt freindly I dont like to use the stylus anymore. i’d better use that stylus on my PDA palm but on O2 Atom where the screen is very small and that make the letters cramped in that small screen and that makes it hard for me to do the txting!
Well i dont like Flip Phones eiher they are not cool for me. Well maybe its that I just kinda dont like them.
But my IDEAL phone right now is a Wifi capable network activated and the wifi w/b/g, with lots of internal memory, good camera features, multi band, not a cdma(but since im here in US, will do but should not idealy, ideally should be GSM) I like to have the regular keypad like the nokia not the qwerty one. and should be FM radio capable without hooking those those earphones to get reception. And should play music which is as loud as the ringtone, and can support various media files for music and video. As well it should have the capability show local TV channels.
Well thats the least ideal celphone for now. I wish makers of celphone will read this so they will know whats cool. Makers dont forget the design! Good design is sometimes makes it cool take iPhone as an example.
ciao!
